Q: Will those candle bulbs give me enough light?

A: Yes. The lumen is a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted by a source. The number of lumens varies depending on the bulb. Typically there is not a significant difference in the number of lumens in a candelabra base bulb vs. a medium Edison base (standard) bulb. Back to top

Q: How is the finish applied? Is it painted?

A: All our finishes are the result of a natural chemical process. Chemicals are applied by hand to the brass or copper which accelerate the natural aging process. As a result of this organic process, each finish is unique. Our finishes do not use any paint. Back to top

Q: How do I clean my lantern? Can I use brass or copper cleaner?

A: Do not use brass or copper cleaner. Brass or copper cleaner can damage the finish. Lanternland lanterns are best clean with a soft cloth and warm water. A mild soap or detergent may be used if necessary but should be tested on a small area first.Back to top

Q: Will the finish change?

A: Yes. It is natural for brass and copper to change color as they age. Slight variations in finish are a natural characteristic of brass and copper. Environmental influences determine the speed and nature of these changes and they are neither predictable nor covered by warranty in any manner.
